About Lock Doc
Lock Doc was founded in 2009 by Darren Mitchell, a qualified locksmith who spent years working for national chains before realising something was missing — the personal touch. He wanted to build a business where every customer felt like a neighbour, not a job number.
Starting out of the back of a single van in Gosford, Darren quickly built a reputation for showing up fast, pricing fairly, and doing the job right. Word spread, and within a few years Lock Doc became the go-to name for locksmith services across the whole Central Coast.
Today we’re a team of three licensed technicians covering everything from car key programming and home lockouts to full commercial security systems — still mobile, still local, and still driven by the same values that started it all.
